We are getting really sick of our landlord. He's been coming into the house when we aren't home, unannouced. When we got home from IL we found muddy boot prints by the back door- which didn't come from either of us. Not only that but he's been coming into the house when we are home too! Today when I got home from work I locked the door behind me. Now I know for a fact I did this because I double checked it 10min later. Well after I did a few chored I decided to take a shower. When I was showering I thought I heard the doorbell but didn't really think twice about it because I hadthe radio on and no one ever comes to our house. Well when I got out I went into the bedroom which is right across the hall from the front door, on my way out of the room I noticed the door was unlocked. I knew immediately it was the land lord. What boggels my mind is tht the land lord saw me come home and on top of that all of our vehicles were home. I looked up the laws on this and it just says he has the right to come in at any reasonable hour even without notice, although notice is preferred. David said he wanted to put up our old security cameras inside to watch and record what he does and when. I'm starting to think that's a good idea.

I started my job on thursday. I spent yesterday and today watching videos on company policies and tomorrow I actually start training on the register. I like it so far.

When david and I got home yesterday and checked our mail I got a flyer for a free blackberry phone and bluetooth for renewing my contract early. So we went and got my new phone! So now I have internet where ever I go! Its nice but I'm still figuring this thing out, they told me it would take like 2 weeks to figure it out. There's definately a lot to learn!

David and I are in the doctor office right now because he got really sick last night. The doctor thinks he has the h1n1 virus but they couldn't get a good sound for his lungs so we are waiting on that. They said it could also be pnemonia too because of his trouble breathing. I guess we jus have to wait and find out!

I got a job at Kmart. Just waiting to pass my background check and drug test (which I have yet to take). But I don't see myself failing either of those so I know I have the job. I start off as a cashier part time - 29 hrs/week, but can get up to 40hrs. Minimum wage (7.25) But they are starting me out there and then after a few days/weeks I will more than likely be promoted to a department manager (like what David does).

Betsy, to answer your question, Montana is still in the picture but we aren't really pursuing anything there at this time. I have a list of about 30 kmarts that are within 100 miles of Geneseo and Oconomowoc. I gave it to David and he has to call them. He talked to a guy in Nebraska's Kmart and said he'd work with David to get something they'd both be happy with....he was really eager to meet David. Nebraska is a lot better than North Dakota, closer and warmer. Only down fall are the tornados, but with the summer we just had it wouldn't be much different. lol

Well I guess that's all for here, See you all in just over a week!! Happy Christween...Hallowmas....? lol

I can't believe it's October already! How time flies! I'm still job hunting. I had an interview on Wednesday at the factory I mentioned last time. Hopefully I find out about it soon. I'm also applying at a check collection agency. In the mean time David and I have been talking about moving. At the end of the month we plan to take a trip to Nebraska (where his uncle lives) to look for jobs, he has a meeting with the Kmart there to talk about possibly transferring. Then we are heading to Illinois! To job hunt there as well. The transferring to Kmart in Illinois doesn't seem like it will work out because they're all crapy or closed down. But Stephanie mentioned Wisconsin and we got a few numbers and David called them, they weren't hiring but they said to check back later. So we will be keeping our eyes and ears open for any possibilities. I honestly don't care weather we move to Nebraska or Illinois (obviously I'd rather go to IL or WI) but I don't mind which one because anything is better than ND, plus closer to IL.

Well that is about all that is going on here. Hope you all have a great day!!

Well a lot has happened since I last wrote. I got fired...was told our employee turn over rate was too high, in other words its our fault we can't keep/hire good employees. Which are limited to high school students and then when they don't show up for their shifts and we decide not to put up with that it's some how our fault. Oh well I guess, I was going to quit but I was waiting till I had another job. So me and the manager go fired then our 2 employees that worked for us quit once they found out about it. Looks like his employee turn over rate is high now. So now I'm job hunting I picked up a lot of applications and turned them in. Friday David's uncle gave me a tour of where he works and is going to try and get me hired in there. He said since he's been there for 15yrs anyone he reccomends is a shoe-in. So hopefully he's right. It's a place called Baker Boy, it's a place that makes and ships all kinds of goodies - like donuts, pastries, bread, cookies, etc. They bake some fresh to sell and ship out and you can also buy the items frozen and you just bake it. It's mostly for stores and restaurants that buy them and sell to their cusotmers (like the local donut shop). They service all 50states out of this one plant. His uncle says it's a pretty mindless job but it keeps you on your toes, its pretty much all assembly line work but it pays good and has good benefits. They start out at $10.50/hr and medical insurance is free for the worker but you can add/pay for your family. And I was told the package is really good too. It's also only 4days/wk - 10hr shifts and overtime whenever you want it, you just sign up for it. So hopefully I get it.

Other than that not much is going on. David is applying to be a police officer in Geneseo. We are waiting for the application in the mail and if he passes the application then he has to take an exam on Oct 31....I find it ironic it's halloween. lol David said he'd only move to Illinois for a job that is going to pay at least $13/hr...basicaly something good, better than minimum wage. I really hope he finds one in Illinois. I know his family will throw a fit about it but I really want to move back. Pray that it happens!!

I guess that's all that's going on. I don't have internet, only when I come to our friends place, which I'm babysitting now so I can use it. Don't worry the kids are in bed so I'm not ignoring them. Plus David is here. lol Helps with some extra cash since I'm not working.

Take care everyone and have a good night!
